Does anyone know the approx cost of having a frame straightened?
I know prices may differ, but what's the average?

Car has right front damage, which bent the frame between the a arms and the firewall. consequently, the left (undamaged) fender is sticking out about 1/4 inch at the driver door. it is a 64 b body.

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

Local shops here in FL charge about $200-300 depending on damage.
Most prefer to have the frt clip off and preferably engine out so they
can access the damage area. I had this done on my 1/2 ton truck and charge was $200 since it had no frt clip, eng or trans. Otherwise, he would have charged me $500-600.

thanks, I kind of figured it would be cheaper if the shop just straightened the frame, w/o the labor charge for dismantling.

the other option I'm considering is swapping frames from a 64 buick to this 64 olds, but the buick parts car has been sitting for a long time and will not even roll.

so, I assume the frame rack is definitely the way to go.

I wonder, is there any customizing that might involve restructuring this part of the frame? If you see what I'm thinking.
