I was browsing through some junk on my grandpas property and found an old buick wildcat.. im not sure of the year, but early '60's probably.

anyway, inside the engine compartment on the passenger side fenderwell there is an old tri-angle bottle that says washer, anti-freeze, solvent on the cap. It appears just to be for spare fluid.

anyway, is this thing worth anything or is it just a neat bottle...

    Worth anything....

Almost anything has some value to somebody no matter what it is.
In the case of that bottle, they were originally installed in most GM cars of that era.
They were filled with stuff called "Kleer-view" or Optikleen" which was GM's names for windsheid washer/solvent/antifreeze concentrate.
It was basically an alcohol based cleaner.
Back in the day, you would mix the stuff with water into the washer fluid resivior to keep from freezing and to help clean bug guts off the windshield.
The bottles, caps, and even the lables are all in reproduction now so I'd imagine that they can't be worth all that much.
I'd leave that bottle with the car, especially if you're gonna restore it. :TU:
What's the story on the Wildcat? :Do No:
I would like to see a picture of it.
...also wondering what other kind of "junk" is lying around on that property.:Brow:

Ok, i see.. well the buick is up for grabs, im not real sure how he got it.. It has a nailhead in it, not real sure the size, nor the exact year of the car. Its a 4 door.. interior is fair, except for the pannel that goes under the rear window. the body is decent, but once again not perfect at all. it has no major rust. Its light blue. with light blue vinyl interior. Im not sure how it runs or whatnot.

I like the swoopy features of the car such as the guage layout and such, i really dont know much about these cars.

    Post s picture

A picture can be worth a thousand words.
Since you don't seem to know what year it is, maybe we can help you identify it.
    Can you post a photo?
I'm still curious what else is out at your granpa's place?

    Introductory model

    Nice cars! :TU:
The 1962 Wildcat was the first production model ever offered.
Back then, "Wildcat" was only a trim package on the Invicta model.
The Wildcat model itself was introduced in 1963. Thats why you can't find production numbers on 1962 Wildcats.
One source http://advancedthrust.com/4600specs.htm gives an exact count of 1116 Wildcats.
Those were in addition to the 12355 Invicta 2 dr HT models.
That makes it a pretty rare car indeed.
Your grandpa should have no problem finding buyers for that:TU:
Here's a photo of one that I found at cars-online
