Is the 70 glovebox door different from the 71 and 72?

 

Yes, they are different visually.

If you see the picture here, the label across the center which is specific to 71-72.

The 70 glove box inside has cup holder indentations, which is the basic difference. 70-72 all is the same glove box cover and will fit and interchange. You only need to worry about this difference if you are doing a year correct restoration.
