This is a brand new, never used Goodson gas powered rod heater. You could use this to assemble your own rods and pistons from the comfort of your home instead of sending them out and paying someone else to do it for you. There is a minor scratch on one side and the ceramic pads are a little discolored (turned yellowish) from sitting. It works as is with natural gas and uses the included regulator for propane. Unlike the new models available it looks like there is a pilot on this unit (the thing to the back left in the box) so that you don't have to relight it in between rods, it has gas lines running to it from underneath. New this retails for $719.99 (minus the pilot), we're selling it for $550, this is being offered to the community first, then its off to ebay so if your interested please let me know.
