Hello, everybody, I am Elis from Sweden!

I am new at this board, but i feel i have found the right place.

It seems to me, its a very great Buick board.

I owns a Bamboo Cream colored70 GS Stage1 conv. and an Arctic White 65 Gran Sport thin pillar coupe.

The 70 GS was imported to Sweden 1975.
And the 65 Gran Sport arrived to this cold country 1979.

Well, I am curious and i have to look around
    here for a while now!
    See you!

    Hey,

Welcome to the board, Elis. You sure do have some nice cars!

I'm surprised Marco hasn't responded to this thread yet. He runs a factory Stage 1 registry here and I'm sure he'd like you to register. You should check that site out as it has lots of information on cars like yours. That sure is a good looking and rare convertible.

    Take care,

Welcome to the board, Elis. Glad you finally found us.

As Ken kindly pointed out (thanks Ken), I run a factory Stage 1 registry. I've sent you an e-mail about a year ago, but I think it was probably an old e-mail address. It would be great if you could take some time to register your GS. Please e-mail me with any questions/concerns you may have. Thanks!

Well, have fun and soon you'll be addicted on the V8Board with the rest of us. Enjoy!

PS - A while ago, you provided me with a picture of your GS for the website. Check it out on the 'Miscellaneous pictures' page :TU:

Thanks a lot, EVERYBODY of you!
I feel this is really the right place.

Yesss, this is a great side, I know it now!!
I was looking around here for a looong while yesterday...

Lon, my GS Stage1 has Burnished Saddle as interior
The steering wheel is the "Squeeze a honk"-option.
That steering wheel is not so good for now, but i am looking for a new one.

And the top is white, but from the beginning it was grey.
Your top is looking grey on the pic, or ?

And yes....Marco, i have read EVERYTHING on your site.
    An excellent place!
Many thanks for putting my car on your site!
I had a lot of problems with my internet connection in the past.

And yes i have thought about to register it too.
But hmm...I dont think Sloan has the documentation.
The car is build in Mars 1970.
Who has the docs. on the late-70 built cars?
How much do I need to pay to get that documentation?

I also have seen pics of this kind of car in France. A red, not so long time ago.
And about ten years ago it was also a black car in Norway.
But i am not sure if its a fake...or not.

    As you know,
it has been made 1 of these cars with a 3-speed.
Have you or someone else located that car?

OK, See you all again and be careful with your Beauty Buicks.
    Elis.

The 3-speed '70 convertible is owned by John Bernadi here in the States.

Wayne Roberts has documentation on your GS, for a fee of $50 USD. His contact information is on the registry webpage, but I think I have his email at home. Email me 455stage1@comcast.net so I will have your E-mail address and can send you his.

You don't need Waynes docs to join. Just visit the registry where there is an internet form youi can fill out. I would require your VIN, cowl data plate information, and all options that you know of. Also just include how you know it's a Stage1 ('SS' motor, 'BB' trans, window sticker, etc).

Thanks, and again, welcome to THE Buick information place on the internet!

    Welcome!

    Your cars look very nice!
Squeeze-a-honk! Thank-you for some much needed hilarity for the day. Perhaps for many days!
I think I will get a lot of mileage out of that phrase!
    Welcome to our home.
