You could buy the black one, and I'll pick up the green one. I hate to see a green wheel get dyed. They are hen's teeth to find already.
Just wondering what happened here. I did not agree to that swap and now i have no response for days regarding the green wheel. Funny thing though, i asked Barry about his black wheel in another for-sale thread mid month and got no response regarding that one. Also got ripped off by oreilly64buick, he dissappeared with my money for a hornbar and trim. I'm starting to lose faith in buy/sell on this site. Gary
Guys, I'm disappointed..... I can assure you no one is intending to rip anyone off. Barry only came up with a solution that would have gotten Gary a black wheel and in turn he would have gotten the green one. It seemed like a win /win to me. But Gary, as you know I said to you that it was entirely up to you in Tuesdays mail. You also asked for a horn button and I dug out a black one for you today. I got a shipping cost of $16 for 5-7 day mail and was wanting $20 for the button. I'm sorry you had a bad experience on this board before but that won't happen with me. As far as Barry's sale of a wheel in another thread goes, I believe it was along with some consoles and some valve covers which I purchased from him. Barry had planned to ship the black wheel to me with the valve covers so there would be no additional costs for anyone. And I sure he would have picked up the cost for the green one to him. I know how rare a green wheel is and what they are worth. I had been looking for one for many years for the green vert in my avatar that I've had for 29 years. And then lucky for me I came up with two at once so I thought I would sell the extra one here at a reasonable price. I am certain I could have gotten more on ebay but its not all about money. There are other members on this board that know how generous I am with parts. I have given rally steering wheels away and many many other items. Anyhow, enough said. I didnt mean to burn anyone out, I just thought it would be better to have a black wheel instead of a painted wheel for your car. The steering wheel that I was going to ship to allgs was a nice wheel , but it did have some normal wear from everyday driving. I did not respond back, but I did put the picture of the wheel on the board, when you asked for a picture to see it, and was waiting for a response from you. And , if I did not respond to your post in an old post, it was not intentional, I had alot going on at the time, and was only checking the board occassionally and my wife was handling all the shipping of the items that were sold , because I am still currently out of state. I would have been willing to pay shipping both ways on the overall deal. Barry
Ok Marcel & Barry, If it's not too late i'll do it your way. I was just worried i wouldn't get a wheel as good as the green one since you only posted one pic and it was chopped off at the top. Then looking through my other subscriptions i realized this was the same black one i was asking about prior to this thread. I'm not trying to make anyone feel bad here and i always want to be fair. This wheel is no longer for sale, I have recieved no payment for it and I have since purchased another car and I will keep this wheel for that car.
