worst design decision ever...i was trying to pull my timing cover and after a couple tried to pop it loose, i realize there's a bolt up under the pully i missed...and if it's not enough that there were already like 3 different sized sockets/wrenchs needed for the timing cover/water pump bolts, none of them work on this one. 7/16 is too small, 1/2 too big, and no metric wrenches fit it...i guess i have to go buy a 15/32 wrench.:Dou:

Someone must have been there before then..... the long bolts should be 1/2 and the smaller bolts are 7/16 I think...... that or they are corroded to a point where they are now smaller.

maybe so..all the long ones were 1/2, and most of the smaller water pump bolts were 7/16's, but some seemed a bit smaller and i think i ended up using a metric wrench on them. the one under the pully doesn't want to budge with anything, though.

most of the bolts were still black (not rusted), though, so i'm not sure what's going on.
