What did you use for bulbs?

I was bound and determined to give it an honest try. I'll try to post some pics once I get a good spot to verify it at night.

Thanks, that is the exact flasher I ordered as well. We'll see how it turns out.

I got them all at amazon, side marker lights (alla lighting 500 lumens , red & yellow 194), front turn signals ( ibrightstar newest 9-30v low power 1157 , yellow and red for the rear brake/turn signals) , reverse lights ( luyed 1440 lumens 1156 ). Sorry I don't know how to post the direct link like you did. The reverse and brake/turn signals have been in for a year now, no issues. I just did the side marker lights and front turn signals last weekend.

That is what I was trying to avoid. A lot of extra wiring, relays and fuses.

I ordered a pair of the bulbs you mentioned to see what luck I have with them and my flasher.

My flasher just stopped working on the way home from work, looks like I'll be getting another one.

Don't mean to hijack you're thread. Here are some pix of the bulbs I used at night in the garage with some lights on. The last pix , yellow side marker has the lights off.

Cool. I'm going to be doing more LEDs on mine as soon as they arrive. Most of the interior is done, rear sail panels and under dash courtesy lights. Already done backup lights, license plate light and trunk light.

Those are bright. I like them!

This has been an informative thread. All of these were replaced without any fitment issues, correct?

    Did you resolve this issue?

No, I haven't got a new one yet, going to stop at the parts store and pick one up if they have it. My flasher went from not flashing, to randomly flashing / not flashing. Driving me crazy, lol. Worked great for a year and now going crazy on me.

I wish I'd seen this thread before I replaced all the rear passenger side bulbs. Haha

I don't really drive it at night anyway but it's definitely great info.

And I'd be interested in seeing how the brake lights and front turn signals look during the daylight with these upgrades.

I'm still unclear about flashers for LEDs. Do we need 2 (1 for turn signals, 1 for 4-ways)? I got 1 for my car and plugged it into top left of fuse panel but those with more knowledge than me on here said that is the 4-ways only, and turn signal flasher is up by emergency brake. Did you just use this one flasher, and where did you plug it in to (panel or e-brake area)?
    Thanks, Craig

I don't get the drama with LEDs and flashers. I'm running LEDs everywhere but the headlights and all I did was buy generic electronic flashers at O'Reilly Auto Parts . Put them in place of the generic flashers for the hazards and turn signals and everything works like a champ.

I don't get the led craze period. Why fix what isn't broke?

    A couple of reasons:

    1) They are brighter!
    2) They use a lot less electricity, therefore it stresses the old wiring a lot less and reduces any chances of fire
    3) The alternator on these cars isn't the greatest
    4) If you believe the stats, they will last the life of the car!
    5) I change things on my car, it's what I do. I've installed rear discs, overdrive, True-Trac posi, quick ratio steering, T/A swaybar, aluminum heads, tubular front control arms and tall ball joints.

LED lights in the interior because my eyes suck and the increased brightness as well as the light being very "white" allows me to actually see things inside the car at night or in a dark garage.
LED lights in the markers because It makes the reds not pink and the ambers not yellow.
LED lights in the back because I think the sequential tail lights are brighter and look cool! :)

On a NON-LED train of thought, rigging up the new wire harness with relays for the front head lights really rocks! Had to drive the car for about 1/2 an hour in the dark last night and the brightness of the lights and again the improved "whiteness" of the light was remarkable. And I'm just running the plain old sealed halogen style lamps. I'm hoping to get over to Sean Riley's at some point and do a side by side comparison to see if it's just my imagination.
