Hey Rick, love those pictures of your car, just two questions....why does the one appear to have a brown top(camera or lighting I assume?) and what color is your car?? Platinum mist, it sure is beautiful.....oh, the rims are???LOL later Tim I love hi rez pics of beautiful GS's, trying to build a collection of all colors and combos for 70-72..
Thanks for the compliments, the color is a 1998 factory buick color called sandstone beige metalic. It does have a chocolate brown top......Rick
Yep, saw the car in person last year at Bristol.. Georgeous color combo, and excellent execution of the entire "look".. Liked it so much we are considering painting the shop's tube chassis car that color.. it was originally Poly Brown Metallic (code 68) with the brown vinyl top. Good job.. sweet car.. JW
That may be true, I've never heard that, but it may be. Yet many, many of us run at the track and on the street often with stock balancers and we're ok. I'd have loved to afford an SFI balancer for $400, but the stock one will work fine. Especially if the engine is balanced with it. I would recommend a new TA balancer over a rebuilt one. Just my thinking.
Yeah I know, I've never "used" an SFI dampner either, just something that I heard somewhere. o No: Maybe propaganda promoted by an aftermarket manufacturer trying to sell some SFI balancers.:Brow: Maybe Fluiddampner?o No: I kinda believe this hype, though.
