This is probably not the right place for this thread, but I figured this is where the "shifters" are so I'd put it here. I have been dealing with Pete Serio of Precision Pontiac and the guy is awesome! I found out about him in this forum so figured I'd see if he could help me find a shifter for my '68. He actually had one original shifter and stick for a '68 GS. SOLD! He was more than helpful, responsive beyond belief. Answered ever email promptly, every question. Offered photos so I could verify and understand what I was getting. And has helped me since then.
