Clem, I beat you here. I got in this morning at 3:44 AM It is now 1 PM and I’m wearing shorts and flip-flops. Definitely much hotter than Virginia was. Now I have to unload the back of my truck. I hate to work part of the vacation!
I was cruising the internet and found a GS for sale near Sarasota. Girl owns it. Says it was her father's car. Its sitting in her garage. She's got no idea about the car at all except "the valve covers have a man's name on them". I asked her, kenne bell? She said, "yeah, that's the name!" This ought to be interesting...
Nahh, Jason, Slim, and Mooney called him Chicken legs. You guys will be calling him Stud soon enough.
It will be 105 in the shade pretty soon. That said I DO NOT miss NY. Life is what you make it!! You will need better wax for you car if stored outside!!! FK1000
Jason, be sure that your auto insurance has protection from uninsured drivers on it. I'm serious, a news report yesterday stated that over 20% of all Florida drivers (I have heard figures as high as 27%) do not have insurance on their cars.
Florida is actually pretty tough on this for 4-wheeled vehicles, and has a fairly well functioning reporting system. If the vehicle owner has a current registration and the insurance companies report the lapse on the policy, the owners drivers license is suspended until the registration is terminated or an active policy is reported. This does not apply to motorcycles or "out-of-state" registered vehicles, though. I guess to some people a suspension may not matter...
