When working with factory iron heads,I like to start with a small-valve. I can remove material where needed,but you can’t put it back,like you said.
Im doin a set for my GSX..need to get them on the bench and finish them here soon actually....all bowl work..mostly pics are worthless but ill post some anyway....it will run bottom 12.10s to 11.70s with 93 pump and all stock parts....that will be my validation...not a piece of paper with columns of #s....just a time slip
