header seal

Got a seal, what goes where it ends? The last couple of inches of the windshield top frame?

 

Header seal goes on the top conv bow...there should be tabs/fingers to hold it in place.

 

George isn't there some padding that sits on top of the header under the vinyl? Frank

 

No padding....the vinyl gets glued directly to the metal header

 

Yup, but the header seal dosen't go end to end. Where do I find whatever goes on the outside 6 inches of each side.

 

I'd like to see a picture of a correctly installed header seal if anyone can post one...The position of the W/S ends on my Skylark is not correct, IMO...

Seal goes from end to end....if yours does not, you have the wrong header seal or the ends fell off. I can get some pics this w/e.

 

Have one for a Buick from Legendary, it's short. Ordered one for a Chevele to see, it's short also. This is a 64 Skylark.
