"They" the modules are made in the USA? or "They" the distributor assemblies are made in the USA (with imported components?)

The module web-pages don't say anything about Country of Origin.

They also say they have "more electronic dwell", but they don't say more than WHAT. They never say it's "more than any other properly-functioning HEI module."

I like my lectric replacement module BUT it doesn’t work properly with most newer coils. Sounds crazy but I had multiple calls to their tech team after having stalling issues. They blamed it on new foreign made coils. (I was using a proper spec’s coil from a good brand but at low idle the engine would stall) I had to reinstall my 50 year old delco coil to get the car to run at a traffic light! After trying several newer coils from Napa and blue streak, etc., I finally found a NOS USA made coil that was maybe 10 or 12 years old. That works perfectly. It was a total PIA to track down the issue.

I'm running an old 247 Delco coil as well without any issues. I figure I'll just leave it alone since it tested okay and still works.

I do keep a NAPA one on hand just in case. I had a similar issue with coils a while back and went through three of them before finding one that tested okay and actually worked.

Seems you can't put much faith in "new" parts these days.

I called them back when I was deciding which one to use in my rebuild. That was the response. They have a good rep and that's what they use in their HEI. There is nothing on their website about country of origin that I could find. I have no interest in their business BTW.

I'll pass that to a neighbor when he start working on his new GS 455 project. He had to sell the Wrangle first before he can have some budget for the Buick. We'll install the new lift kit and jeep accessories this weekend and hope the buyer would take it.

I found another 247 coil yesterday that tested out perfectly. Just needs a little cosmetic TLC.

Crazy how 50 year old parts hold up better than new Chinesium junk.

    Agreed!

I'm going to clean it up and paint it this week, then it'll go in the parts bag I keep in the car.
