How do you guys like living there? One of my good friends went to ASU so I visited the area 5 times or so. I am seriously considering a move to the valley within the next few years, providing I get this job I want and can transfer there. I am sick of the Long Island/ NY area.

I've been out here 25 years after 25 years in Annapolis, MD. I dealt with the snow in the winter and the humidity in the summer back east. I'd rather deal with the 2-3 months of heat out here, you just need shorts and a few fans in the garage. It's a 112 out now, 100 or so in the garage, but since there's no humidity, it's not that bad. Been out there all day so far. I can drive to the ocean in 3-4 hours or the mountains in 2. I miss the green and the change of the seasons sometimes though. But Oct-April is 60-80 degrees :beer

While the scenery isnt as nice as it is back east, I wouldnt want to live anywhere else. 110+ during the summer sounds bad but it really isnt that bad, its dry so all it is, is just heat. Its not humid so it isnt an icky heat, just like warming the oven and opening it on yourself. Plus its only late morning into the afternoon thats bad, the rest of the 18 hours of the day is amazing, nice and warm :) Dont get me started on the 50-60 degree winters :Brow:

Yeah I was out there last September and we played a round of golf when it was around 107. It was hot, but not as bad as I expected. When I got back home I remember feeling hotter washing the car outside in the humidity than I was playing golf there, not to mention the real estate is so much cheaper than it is here. I am seriously considering the move out there within the next few years.

    Thanks for the responses guys

Here in AZ we adapt our activities to the weather.

A typical day goes something like this:

Walk from your air conditioned house to your air conditioned car and drive to an air conditioned Starbucks.

From there to the covered parking at your air conditioned office...you get the idea.

TA, would this be a good place to discuss your fuel injection kit for the 350?

I am a motec dealer and will be injecting the Apollo right away. Your bolt on pieces could simplify this a great deal.

Basically I need everything required to "get injectors on the motor" and if you have bolt on answers for throttle body, cable, filter box etc it would save me a bunch of fab work and let me get to what I do best.

I suppose I'll need to drive the lump down to you sooner or later, but I wouldn't mind getting the ball rolling now.

Anyway, I can ask these questions over the phone, or start a thread here so everyone can benefit from the answers.

    Whichever you prefer.

Calling would be the best, that way our tech guy can go over anything you can think of and just explain everything in great detail. If you have engine management we can just have the injector bungs installed and whatnot, or we can have everything done so that all you have to do is hook everything up.

Hello to all, I'm a new member to the site but come from a family of Buick Freaks. I'm also located here in Arizona, Chandler to be exact. I have a 1974 Buick Apollo that I bought when I was sixteen and I'm trying to restore her to her former glory. I look forward to all the help I'm sure this website will provide. I'll post some pics later this week to show my fellow Apollo people what I'm working with.

    Welcome aboard :beers2:

This evening I found this AZ Apollo (with only 2 other Buicks amongst dozens of other US car brands; a 64 Riviera and a 86 Regal) at a carshow in Kingman, AZ:
