HELP 1972 350 skylark ENG in to a 86 REGAL

hi guys i had this fat servicemanual dealer book for Buick 1973 and up laying around and i just found it now ou: . and ive been looking thru it and i found lots of info on the 350eng, trans and the rear end and what ever else i need to kno, but its not like you guys helping me out with experiance and all.
i found this cool pic page on the rear positive differantial. its like a blue print.

hello. i want to know if the 1986 regal rearend has 26 spline or 28 spline???, someone told me on ebay that a 86 regal has a 26 spline. :beer

 

If it is a regular Regal (not a Grand National or maybe a "T" type, Turbo car) it should have 26 spline axles. It should also have a 7.50 inch ring gear.

 

well its a 86 regal limited, i just need to go to the garage to find out the spline but if anyone knows i can save some time . thank you for your help and it it a 7.5 ring gear

 

7.5 ring gear with definitely be 26 spline axles.
