  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

Hi, and welcome to the board!

We're all pretty friendly 'round these parts and we'd appreciate at least a first name to know who we're 'chatting' with.

There is a 'Parts wanted' forum that you could post you exact needs.

Also, what kind of ideas are you looking for? Restoration? Performance? Cruise spots? Clubs?

Lets us know - we're here to help :beer

    69GS400s ...my own amusement ride!

    Whats Up, Doc ???

Lets see a picture of your Ride.....and what you're lookin to achieve with the finished project !! describe what state its currently in, what needs attention.....etc.

First bit of advice - get yourself a FACTORY 1969 Buick Chasis Service Manual.....or the Bible as my wife calls it (because one is in my nightstand drawer....I have a few copies - one to work with and get dirty, one to read, and an NOS one for the shows). Practically everything is described in detail in this book. Here's a picture and link to one on Ebay right now......

They come up every so often in different states of condition - for one to work on the car with you should be able to get it for under $30....i.e. crumpled cover.

Second bit of advice is to Join the BPG - The Buick Performance Group located at www.Buickperformancegroup.com Most of the people on this board are members and its a TRUE BUICK CLUB. Great bunch of guys.....

I've had BigRed for 11 years now and have been in and under most of it at one time or another. Its gone from a stock motored rusted quarter panel 15.8 sec 1/4 mile driver to a Nasty running 12.39 1/4 mile Bruiser that usually takes home a trophy if i put it in a show. Im not the fastest....or most knowledgeable but like all the members of this board Im willing to help :tu: ...have a bunch of spare parts

    Here's a show picture....

...and Here's it running last year

Sadly my car needs to be sold or crushed... I'm moving to an apartment in the city so I have NO WHERE for it to go. It would make the perfect parts car!
