Last week while secretly wet sanding a part in the bathtub (a big no-no Ive been caught doing before and learned it just wasnt worth it, lots of this  ). It took me over 2 years to find it, so I was taking my time to be gentle with it. Heard her footsteps coming up the stairs and in the mad clean-up and hide evidence technique I hit it against the shower door and snapped it in half  :ball: It is the 74 Apollo drivers side rear fender corner filler panel that is made of flexible rubber. It is used to fill the gap between the rear bumper and the body. With the shock absorbing bumpers used on the car they needed a flexible part there so if there was an impact it would flex before getting to the sheetmetal. Over the years they dry out and even the slightest pressure touches them will crack them. Finding usable cores is few and far between. The rubber is exactly the same type that was used throughout the 70s on different types of cars most notably the nose valance on the GTOs etc. They get spyder cracks in them from what Ive seen. Ive been trying anything I can that permatex carries, but after setting up overnight just lifting the part breaks the bond. Ive tried their super glue and 2 part expoxys with bad results. Hopefully someone here might know of something that might work. Or if someone has the knowledge or capabilities to reproduce this part Id like to talk to you. Next time you see an Apollo look at this section, its either missing, or car that was put in a bubble all its life. They are not reproduced, they are Apollo specific as far as I can tell, and they very ,very hard to locate. Any help appreciated//thanks

Kieth, thanks for the info, Called and spoke with the owner "Bondo". He dosnt make them, but he agreed if I pay for the molds required hed tool them up and reproduce them and sell the copies only to me so I can try and recoup some of the investment by reselling some. Im sending out my cores to see what he thinks. I had to do this with the GSX stripe pkg as well on this car. If only they were popular. Thanks again

Your auto body paint supply shop should be able to sell you the correct two part glue to properly repair that material. There is a company called Dominion Sure Seal as well as others that have an entire line of specialty glues for that type of work.
