I read a prayer a number of years ago, and decided to post it here for you all for inspiration. Here it is: For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run his fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge you'll never walk alone. People, more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, redeemed and redeemed. Never throw out anybody. Remember,if you ever need a helping hand, you'll find it at the end of your arm. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands- one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.
Thanks Carl Whoever wrote that prayer was a wise person, thanks for sharing Carl and have a great day.
That prayer was written by a gentleman named Sam Levenson for his granddaughter. Where I found the prayer is from a biography on a very well known actress by the name of Audrey Hepburn. She read this prayer to her sons on the last Christmas she spent with them(December 1992) She unfortunately passed away in January 1993. You have a great day too!
Yes she was. I am a great admirer of her and have quite an extensive amount of archival material about her.You could say that I am about as fanatical about her as I am about my Buicks. :TU: I agree too, that it is a great prayer.
