I have this Holley 4010 750 cfm carb that came off my 71 GS 455. It needs a good cleaning and some adjustments. Carb runs good a wot and on the highway,but at idle in gear it's erratic. Some of the board members say it's proabaly an easy fix,possibly an adjustment on the idle transfer slot or a power valve? I haven't opened it up to see,I have another carb I'm using. I don't know what its worth,so I'll start at $75 shipped or BO. Numbers on carb are R84013 1112 12R10552B.

that thing been apart ? do you have the choke rod/plate etc ? that is basically the same as summits "new" carb line . personally i think that holley made a deal with summit to kick BG out the door in return for supplying summit with rebadged 4010/4011 carbs ( that holley did not have much luck with , they were ok , people were just used to the old style carbs ) at a sweet price . thats just a guess . i'll have to check on parts availability - may be interchangeable . appreciate any info . thanks for the time . and a free bump for ya' . del
