For the VFN fiberglass 70 GS hood, what did you do for inserts?
Could you post pics of yours?
    Did you make then functional?
Paint or decal a look-alike insert?
VFN apparently sells an insert made by them, but they have no images of it anywhere, I even emailed them.

    Thanks!

I will have to go look for pix but the last car I had, had a glass hood. And there were holes cut and factory inserts installed.

Yeah, was thinking of alternatives, because factory scoop inserts cost $200, and I'd also then need the brackets I'm not sure how much those are, and then the Air cleaner $$$. Maybe someday.

Will 71 inserts fit the same as 70 or 72?

Yes the holes in the GS hoods for 70-72 are the same
it wont be correct but will fit.

So I have access to some stock 71 inserts. Now I need the part that the inserts rest into.

If you do have any pics it would help me out some. :)
Does anyone reproduce the mouting pieces that go between the insert and the bottom plate? I will need that.
