Short of locating another one, is there any trick to repair and/or tighten up this molding that runs down the middle of the Skylark Hood? The very front mounting post on mine is broken off, and the next one behind it is 1/2 gone and there's no way to get a nut or anything on it (that I've tried anyway). Just want to see if I can tighten it up and eliminate some of the air space between the trim and the hood.

Could you drill and tap into the moulding where the broken stud was without going all the way thru to the top and insert a short section of threaded rod and tighten a stamped tin speed nut onto it to hold it in place?

That might work. I don't know if there's enough left to drill into, but I'll check. Thanks for the idea!
