I k IMG_4573.jpeg IMG_4575.jpeg IMG_4575.jpeg this is correct for 68and 69 but believe it’s correct for 68 to 72. I welcome comments about fitment. Price is $120 shipped I will offer $40 credit if you ship me a un cracked core. Pictures prior requested. I will offer to Fritz first as he was asking for one recently. If it’s correct fitment for a 70, I’ll get inline behind Fritz.

Can the ones that are cracked be repaired?

I had mine repaired by a competent welder, but it's not show quality as you cannot get to the bottom after welding it.

I have one here I can try welding but I don't want to be the one someone messges back a month or year later that it cracked again above or below the weld. Also as mentioned you can't get to the back side to grind the weld after the repair. Most people will never see it but, you know car guys...We are all a little nuts!

Brian , Can you confirm if 70 71 and 72 are the same as the one pictured? I know this is correct for 68 and 69 and believe 68-72 are all the same but do not have a 70 to 72 to compare to.

    '68-'69 A have different pt. # than '70-'72 A (except '70 9000 series uses same as'68-69 A)

Looking at them, briefly, I see no difference in them ('68-9 vs '70-2).

Do you Have a local company that replates them? I have several good ones that could use plating.
