Thinking of going smaller on my trunk mounted fuel cell since my car won't see much strret driving.Thinking of a 5 gallon size.

My tank takes 70 Litres (~20 US gallons). Factory tank, so, whatever it came with is what I have.

I would go larger than that for a trunk mount. What will your fuel system consist of?

You are probably right Todd..I have an Aeromotive A1000 pump with -10 lines to and from the regulator.. After I thought about it,I think I'll just stay the course and keep the 20 gallon in the trunk. I need warmer weather to get here so I can stop overthinking things...lol 20240226_161439.jpg

I don't have a picture of mine (could get one for you tomorrow if you like) but it is a 7 gallon.

Hawk has a 2 gal with 5/8 supply to the front and 1/2 return. Having only 2 gals makes it easy to keep a constant level in the tank for weight and being consistent. I just top it off to just above the foam after each run. Takes close to a gallon of 110 each time.

21 gallon under the car and a 10 gallon in the trunk.

Fuel type and horsepower dictate cell size as well. If you're using pump or race gas you will need less compared to e85, e98 or methanol.
