Goin' out to a bar tonight to see the BEST cover band in NJ. A band called The Nerds. I saw them last summer after hearing about them for years, and they were fantastic! I will probably indulge myself in a 7&7. Or two. As far as the babes are concerned.....If any of them think they can handle this much of a man, I'll give 'em a shot. Or two. I just go out to have fun. It's what I do best, after all. Anything else that happens is just a bonus. If ya catch MY drift.

I was supposed to meet someone from there tonight, but I have to work tomorrow...and she wanted to go out at 10 tonight...downtown. I don;t like driving 40 minutes home doing the one-eyed shuffle down the highway. So I backed out.

Going to the local tavern now:beer

I'm glad I got married instead of waiting cause I'm a big dork and I'd certainly be solo now.

It's 2:45, I just got home. The band ROCKED! The babes were mostly pretty hot, but really young! I don't think the little hotties were looking for a Rhino twice their age. That's ok....the band ROCKED! Oh, and it turns out tonight it was Coors Light, not 7&7s for me. Probably for the best. I've been known to get outta control on the Whiskey. Good Night all.

    lol

he has to work on getting into the same state before he can work on getting into her room. But maybe they should meet first before we go putting them in a room together. Then again talking might ruin things.

Chalk me up for the "single" category as well.

I'd settle for a girl that knows what an air filter is.

Same. I probably won't meet a girl in my driveway though. :(

yeah, sitting in the driveway may not work very well. It's hard to find a good place to meet people when your single. Especially if you don't care for finding someone at the bar.

Yeah, when I got out of school, it was like my whole relationship world dried up...

It's really hard to find someone. I do the typical Friday night bar thing, but it's not to go find girls to drool over....

Ok I do a little bit of that, but I hardly ever act on it. I'd rather meet someone by chance. I've never been a fan of the meat markets.

I don't know. Some of the best girls I can't remember I'm pretty sure I met in bars.

Opposite, or not to opposite? That is the question.

Okay, I have a date on Wednesday night w/ "Guy X". We are supposed to go with several of his friends to see an 80's cover band, named Sixteen Candles, at a bar called Dirty Nellies. My problem is I haven't been on a "official" date in more months than I care to admit. HOW NERVE-RACKING!!
I nervous that I will say something stupid, I don't know what to wear, will I get along with his friends?? AAAHHHH!! :eek2:
I start to think at times like this, that dating can be more stressful than being single.
A big barrier is that he knows barely about cars, racing, dirtbikes, construction/ equiptment and doesn't care for working out. Most of all, he has a cat (not a dog lover).--And since I have a Rott this is a problem. So, all that leaves for thim is that he's a big sports nut, and I'm not.
So, why do we go out with people who we know have barely a thing in common with ourselves?? They say opposites attract right? Maybe I'm not the type who's attracted to the opposite. I feel that a good relationship should consist of a foundation of common interests. But what else do I have to do on a Wednesday night w/ no work the next day? :Do No:
