I am working on the wife about purchasing a convertible. We have been out in my brothers 71 Skylark convertible and the backseat is very tight. We have 3 boys ages 16 months, 5 , and 7. Would we better off looking for a larger vehicle such as a Electra or LeSabre for the room we need?? Is there really that big of a difference in the size of the backseats? Just looking for suggestions. Thanks, Bill
I had a convertible GS 350 and found 3 car seats that would fit the back seat. We were off and running! The trick is to find the narrowest seats available. I also have a 68 LeSabre and of course it has plenty of room. But it is do-able in an A body! - Bill
