    Hi
My 1972 Skylark convertible has a lot of wind noise on the highway.(top UP :) ) I am wondering if it's normal or if I need new weatherstripping or maybe it's my top.
It's hard to explain but it's definitely not quiet.

    Thanks for any info!

My hair blows on a crosswind with the top up!

Probably a combination of dried up weatherstripping and the side glass needing some adjustment. Don't forget the seal between the windshield and the top

    69GS400s ...my own amusement ride!

have a passenger grab hold of the header bow right above the rearview mirror and hang from it .. if that makes a noticable difference you need to either re-adjust your hold-downs and/or replace weatherstripping.

.. its going to be quite a bit noisier than a hard top or even a modern convert .. but it shouldn't blow your eyebrows back

You can't expect ANY convertible to be quiet at highway speeds.
