yEA , BEEN THERE DONE THAT. Your off to the right start had to mdo the same thing years back , I sand blasted the rest of the channel and it needed only minor work. As you all knowthis is one of GM's Bad areas for all.

made some more prgress this morning. this time mike is working with the passenger side package tray/ window channel. here are some pix.

Once all of these pieces are fitted and clean then we can get to some serious action... WELDING. :beer
