I was offered this 68 GS 350 for $200. I don't think I can use the whole car but there are definatly parts I can use. I am going to pay him to take the front seat, dash top, Fuel tank, windshield wiper arms and maybe the steering wheel. Is there anyone else that wants some parts or the whole thing cheap? The engine and tranny are still there. It has power drum brakes and AC.The speedo and controls are there too. The body is ruff with a bullet hole in the drivers door. The glass is all good except the windshield. It's located in Coalfield ,Tennessee. He wants to get rid of the whole car but I offered cash for parts.Whatever you want you will have to come get. Let me know and I will pass the information to him or his to you.

I think it has the 350 but I'll have to check to be sure.

Why oh why can't I stumble across these gems in the rough up here in the northeast.

Damn these winters and the damage salt does. :(

He say's it has a early 70s 350 engine. It has been sitting there for sometime. I will be heading there the second weekend of April to get what I want. The rest of the car is still available.

    '68 GS Parts

If Rusty doesn't take the whole car I'd suggest that you pull -

All chrome trim, especially wheelwell moldings and the aluminum belt trim (along the top of the doors and rear quarter near the glass).

Also, take the core support (front part with the headlight mounting). This is a hard to find part and there's a patch kit available if it needs it.

Passenger side inner wheel well if it's not rusted away under the battery.

A/C and heater control, especially if the faceplate is still good.

All the glass especially if it's tinted. Very hard to find tinted glass.

I'm interested in the rear marker lights (round red ones).

I may be interested in the "belt trim" if it is in good condition.

    Grab those vinyl top mouldings.

Speaking of mouldings, does this car have body side mouldings? It is hard to tell from the pics. If it does, find that build sheet and forward to Mike Trom immediately please.
