I guess you could call this a junk yard jewel, too bad it wasn't for my Buick.

    EEE Straight out of lo-cash!

They were putting down new cars at a yard down in Long Beach and I decided to stick around for a few minutes until they let people take a look at the cars. There was an old Cadillac that caught my attention, and I thought that maybe it could have a trumpet horn or something else of interest. I pop the hood and I see that the radiator is brand new with a "made in China" sticker on it. Also the distributor cap and wires are new. Under the air filter lid I found this, with a sticker saying rebuilt 30/11/05. Inside the car was a card from the parking officer saying that the car would be towed because it seemed abandoned, the card was a month old. Someone recently dropped some 500$ into it and then something happened, who knows, maybe the person went to jail or somthing. The car turned out to be a 72 Eldorado according to the code on the carb. It had some nice pieces on it, door panels were real good, courtesy lights etc. I bought the carb for 38$, I just couldn't walk away from it, being in such nice shape. So it's off to ebay and hopefully it will fund the fuel down there and maybe a couple of saw blades for the reciprocating saw.
