This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. Boattails dared to be different and so did you, and you were brave enough to share it.
I think it looks pretty good with the body. Sweet man.

Thanks for the replies, good and bad.

I know it's not evrryones cup of tea, and I know it wouldn't work on evrryones roads. The fact is, I rarely drive it, and when I do, it's just for a short cruise around town. The car has less than 88,000 orig documented miles on it, and I'm in the process of either selling it as-is, or I'm going to restore it completely.

As for "I'd fix the rust first", well... The body is going to be sanded all the way down and everything fixed to perfection... I wanted to make sure whatever wheels I picked out were going to fit without any shaving or pulling anything before the bodywork and paint is done.

Bottom line, is the car is being built to suit ME ... and so far, it's perfect. :)

Pimpala, It looks good. I am not a big fan, but the Riv's have the space. I would went smaller on the front for more rake, maybe 24's out back and 22's up front. Still the best look of the wagon wheels on a car, that I have seen!:3gears: Do you have Air ride on it.

cray1801 Too much is just right.

Actually looks pretty good. Now there's no excuse to not upgrade those brakes....you will really need them now with the big wheels!

I'd be worried about the front end weight on that skinny of a tire, any pot holes or bumps will bend that rim like nothing.

I am always nervous about my 245-40-17 tires up front on my riviera
