Thanks for confirming that. :TU: Even though this car is Rat roddish, I'm still trying to do stuff right. So The search will go on for that aluminum bracket for a few more days. After that, out comes the welder!
Hey Dan, guess what........I was going through some old boxes of parts while packing and moving, and I found that aluminum lower bracket!!!!!!! Didn't check the P/N, but I do recall that it originally came in an Electra parts car I bought a few years ago. Here's a couple of pics I still had. I'll be around for a few days yet, so let me know if it's what you need, and we'll work something out that's mutually beneficial.:beer (ie: not expensive:grin: )
That could be it Tom. Can anyone check that part number for me first please? Wanna try to be sure. All it needs to do is lift that Compressor about an inch or so.
I didn't even realize that the P/N showed up on that second pic. I do know that the one bolt hole is only clogged by some old grease, not a broken bolt. Now I'm kicking myself, since I was at my old house earlier today, but never grabbed that piece.ou: I'm pretty sure that it is a 68 part, as it has "68" cast into it, but I'm reasonably certain that it would fit your engine. I can wait until that is verified though. Now that I've found it, it has your name on it until you say differently.:TU:
I have an aluminum lower bracket that came off my old 69 Wildcat that has part # 1387208 on it. I also have the upper steel bracket. If none of the others work I'll have them if you still need them.
