for being absent for Sunday morning service at the track . Especially since I was in charge. I hope all those who gathered managed a few prayers. I had a small sermon planned like last year, but gathering for prayer is important as well.

For about the last year I've been having intestinal trouble. No, nothing serious like an illness. A lot of it has to do with being almost completely lactose intolerant now. Problem there is if I have none at all, other problems turn up. When this happens I'm good for cramps, migrane headaches, and sleeplessness. So I went home Sat night and laid down around elleven for a nights sleep. I woke up around midnight and remember being awake till near five in the morning. By six when I was needing to get rolling, I was unfit to drive the hour to Salem.

Adam Martin called around nine or so to see what was up. I guess I shoulda called him first, but I was either sleeping or stuck in the restroom.

I'm really sorry for letting youns down :(

  2. Dan,

Not to hijack your thread, but have you tried any "dairy digestive supplement" pills? I had been having a problem for quite some time eating dairy products; it got to where I just could not eat dairy products. On a lark one day I bought some generic "dairy digestive suppliement" tablets at Kroger. It was $7 a bottle, but now I can enjoy cereal and ice cream without needing to scope out the nearest bathroom in sight before hand. 'Dem pills changed my life! Basically they just contain an enzyme your body is not producing naturally that lets you digest the simple sugars in milk.

    Joe,

Thanks, I've been trying all kinda stuff. But my change in work schedule keeps me using to much caffine and quicky sugar rushes that do nothing but make it worse. I really need to figue out the proper diet and pills. Getting older really changes stuff.

Dan - My sister is a certified nutritionist out in San Diego. She's always willing to take calls for health related stuff.

There are plenty of different supplements you should be taking to get things back on track. She could also help with proper diet suggestions also.

Let me know if you want her ph. #s.

Regarding your illness at that particular time......the more you try to do - the more the enemy will try to stop you!! :Smarty: Seems like more than a coincidence that it happened at just that time.

    Dan,

I actually didn't hear anyone complain about there being no service on Sunday morning. It sounds like you had a good enough excuse, anyway:)

Thanks Adam. I still feel really crummy that I didn't come through.
