Hey again guys. Ive seen a good amount of info on this conversion done but its typically been done on the F bodies.

So my understanding, I need to machine down the drum hubs, get spindles, rotors, a prop valve, new master cylinder and lines, a bracket [kore3]... am I forgetting something?

What Im hoping to do, is complete this task simultaneous to a coilover upgrade. I was leaning towards the Ridetechs as they have the monotube design, but they mention the setup being built to go along with their tall spindles, which I dont really want to change if I dont have to, nor know if I can if Im trying to do this c5/c6 disc conversion.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

FWIW, I think I heard these parts are really hard to get now. Street Machinery in Ohio used to sell these as kits and I think I read that they can no longer get the necessary parts new.

Gotcha. I've seen some around town and on the web so, hopefully it isnt too much an issue when I get around to trying to grab some.

Im just gonna call Ridetech tmrw and see if the tall spindles are an absolute must, vs a recommendation.

I installed a pair of C5 spindles from CPP (CP30013) along with a pair of Timken hubs. With that setup you can easily add any C5 brake kit (I used Wilwood). Not cheap but you get a taller spindle with integrated caliper brackets.
