I don't know the 64-65 and Skylark-Special differences. The only thing I do know is early and late 65 Skylark had completely different clips that held the mouldings. I have to assume a 64 has similar to the early 65 which was a plastic piece that pushed into a hole on the body. The Late 65 held onto a stud on the body like all GM cars from then on into the eighties.

The 65 trim has the "gills" in it, and this is lower than the "gills" on your car.

The chrome thats on my car now -64 is thin. The 65 chrome is a little thicker. 1st I need more plastic clips for the 65. Where can I get them? 2nd are the holes in the qtrs, doors and fenders lower on the 65 than 64 ??? Or are the holes in the same location :Do No: is my question.

Yeah, I don't have the answer to your question I guess.
