Thanks guys! The scan was painless and very quick. Still have not been told any results yet. Echo-cardiogram(sp??) comes a week today. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. Maybe I just need a jar of Benoitment rubbed on it??!! The respect is mutual!:TU: Peter
Pete: Last year I was in the middle of an echocardiogram when my pants fell down around my ankles. Hospital gown. Yelled to the technicians (ever try to run uphill with your pants around your ankles?) With a technician on each side holding them up and all 3 of us laughing our asses off, I managed to complete the test. Wear your belt.Good luck. Hardest part is when they pull the sticky things off at the end. Ouch.
Man Dave, what is it with you and pants? When you need em' up, they're down, when you need em' down a little, they're up....o No:
Never looked at it that way....... I bet I could have lowered them a little, Bill Clinton style, and got away with it at Atlanta. That would have been totally impossible to explain.
HOLY $HIT! Peter, I know playing the waiting game w/doctors is not much fun all the tests and no answers is BULL $HIT. Hang in there take it easy, one day at a time. Most of all keep your spirits up, know that we all are praying only for the best for you and your family.
Had my "echo" Monday afternoon. Was not suppose to me my heart specialist personally for another two weeks for consultation. Just test with his tech guys. I could tell by the look on the tech guys face that he was surprised/shocked or whatever as he watched the screen. He left the room and brought the heart specialist right in. He is watching and says...." I can't believe that heart is in a 44 year old man!" I ask him what he sees. He replies, " your heart is real big and don't pump so good!" Then it gets better..... He tells me he is "cancelling my stress test next Monday cause I will not survive it! So I go in the hospital today for two days of other tests. Peter
Sending more prayers your direction!ray: If there is anything I can do on my end, please let me know! You have my number.
