Welcome to the board from another AZ member, where are you located? Two good events to put on your calander, one coming up in April, Musclecar Heaven at Speedworld and in the Fall, the Buick /Olds / Pontiac Fall Fest :TU:

Barrett-Jackson Saturday at Pavillions in Scottsdale next weekend and then the car auctions are coming up! (I have media credentials for Russo and BJ)

Thanks for the heads up about Speedworld. Do you go to the 67th and Bell cruise ever?

Cool, another local guy :TU: Used to go to BJ in the middle of the week, but it started get real crowded then as well! Media credentials though would be different, do you get anything extra? Better parking, access?

I go up to the 83rd and Deer Valley (or Happy Valley, I forget the street) on Saturdays some times. Is the 67th and Bell one in the K Mart parking lot? What day, Friday or Saturday? I just got the GS running again today, been sitting since October. I'll have to get it cleaned up and head out one night and get back to the track soon.

Media credentials gets you great parking, free food and access to most all of the areas (except up on the block...media in the past ruined it for the media now)..I mostly go to Pavillions (Indian Bend and the 101) but wil sometimes go the 67th and Bell....both on Saturdays:beer

Wow, what a beautiful car you have. Gotta love the key buzzer. Mine sounds louder than a Honda horn. funny, I was looking at the Chevelle Tech site the other day and someone took pictures of your convertible and posted them , along with about another 100 photos of other cars at the Russo Steele auction, I think. Your car was parked between a 69 and a 70 Chevelle.
My convertible needs a liitle work to look as nice as yours, but it will happen. Your car serves as my inspiration, ha ha. Again, you have a beautiful convertible, congratulations.

Rich, thanks for the nice words...As far as the pics...they were taken by my friend Rick-he's got the 69 Chevelle 396/375. I took pics as well in that same thread The pics were taken at the Pavillions cruise (for Russo and Steele night).

My convertible is definitely a driver...it looks good in pics :)

I used to have a 1966 Chevelle..,this one (pic taken in front of the Barrett-Jackson test (when the top was being redone) :TU:

Thanks for sharing your pictures. Someday I want to go down to Arizona for the auctions there in January. Looks like a great time. Enjoy your Buick, it's a beauty.
