I have a rochester with some internal problems, throttle response is not there when I floor it, or when eased into. I did a rebuild kit a while back, did not help. Where and what kind of carbs are good applications for my stock 350 4barrel?

Your carb is probably worth rebuilding. The people here will be able to give you vary detailed guidance. I've only rebuilt one q-jet, years ago, so I do not know what I am doing. I have learned on this board, though, that it is not as easy as just using parts from a kit, but it is also not hard. You just need to make some adjustments. Hang in there, more people will chime in.

    rochester probs.....

i guess you have a quadrajet.but from your lack of throttle response could be due to a number of things.timing could be off,is the engine healthy?when was the last tune up?i had a monte carlo that started running awful over a bout a week period.i just couldnt figure it out.when i would gas it it would stumble,on hills it would fall on its face.come to find out after some hit and miss i had one bad plug wire.wires were only 1 season old........
