Is this a TCS switch, what does it do?

    tubecatgs Finally a 4 speed......

So found this in my parts stash. I remember seeing a thread awhile ago that it is a TCS switch or something like that. Questions:

    - Could it have come off my 72 skylark 350 2 barrell "3 on thr tree"? (Maybe I removed it when I had the motor rebuilt and added the TA intake, 4 barrel and muncie 4 speed) there is no switch on the car now...

    - What is it, what does it do, should I be using it and is it manual trans related only?

    - I have a 455 I'm going to build with 4 speed set up that's gonna go in a "future" project (car TBD). Should I save it for that project?

    Thanks

That's a throttle solenoid to kick up the idle when you turn the AC on. Pretty sure it was a 72 and up thing
