   Yes Adam, that is one problem with the HEI. There are 4 hold downs on the cap, so clearancing one of them shouldn't be a problem. Putting the distributor in on another tooth is also a solution, but filing the offending protuberance is the easier solution:laugh: Get that boy a small body distributor
