HI,Years after my Dad stopped walking 6 miles to school,
each way,and a few more after "a small step for mankind"
(1st lunar landing),My buddy co-worker was driving me to
his house after work. There was this old car,He said it was a
    1966 Buick Riviera,and I said"What is it?".Its a good thing
he parked the car on gravel instead of grass,I had a shovel
in my hand when I looked at the body to pry the bondo off.
Oh boy this car had air in the tires only.

But, the two carbs, rocker covers sat flat?and he said it was
called a nailhead.and why should I spend thousands on a used
car only to lose more in a few short years. So my first cheque
was to my buddy, and in @ 3 months I was motoring.

Yes, there are Horseshoes, and the steel of the Horseshoe,
I was sure all the order books for this car where left on the
moon!.It was a on the mounts resto, rings and bearings.
What I learned from then on is for life, I love the car.

I don't know. From here, it looks like you should skip the e, r & y in Poetry and just leave the Pot.

I actually got a PM from the guy about my comment on the post. It was un legible as this one. I deleted it, as I wasn't out to make enemies, but it went on about hurricanes and a joke about a town in FL that I still dont understand. Can you say English 2nd language?

    Welcome to the board!

    He's my attempt at translation;

Sometime in the early '70s my buddy was driving me to his house after work. I saw an old car and asked him what it was, he said it was a '66 Buick Riviera. It was in such bad shape you would need a shovel to remove the bondo!

The car had 2 carbs and the valve covers sat flat on the engine, not angled! Even though he said it would be a waste of money to fix, I bought it from him anyway. Three months later I was motoring.

Finding information for the frame-on restoration was difficult. The engine was re-ringed and new bearings installed. What I have learned from this will be with me for the rest of my life, I love this car!

I think he's trying to say.

That he bought a '66 Riveria with Dual Quads, but it was in beat up shape, which was patched with Bondo.
