I dont know how many people are done that conversion at their home, but here is few pics from my engine.I think this is first Hilborn conversion here in Finland.
I run with Haltech GM box,MSD billet distributor(i know crank trigger is better..) and MSD 6AL.
There is original Hilborn intakes from 60s. They are drilled and welded to fit for bosch style injectors.
I also made in same time my first headers ever.It was hard job for me,cause im rookie with pipes and every single primary tubes was with wrong angles and R's.All pipes are tig welded as well.
Notice that headers arent finished yet in pics.I had real hurry to dyno and i workin with them all nights after work.
Thanks for the Fuel Injection Enterprises for the excellent service and fast shippings! :beer And thanks also to TA-Performances people,Sherri and Mike :)

My friend helped me connect things to dyno_On the right side is finnish dyno guru,Mr Santala. He starts those jobs about 20 years ago and dynoed many many European Champs engines.
Heads needs more porting, cam is bit too big for the heads i think. It gave 343hp/625nm.At 2000 rpm's was 530nm,2500@585nm and best torque was @ 3300rpm. The car is very driveable,it has TH-700R4 and 4.10 gears.:3gears:

Very cool! I take it the injectors have been modified to screw into the manifold?

Cool! Got any specs on the cam? Any idea what the nm figures convert to for torque in foot pounds?

.075 thick cutting disc with 12000rpm is like a giljotin..

I try to find out that email where is specs or cam card...torque is only 461 ftlbs.Numbers aint so high, but the engine takes rpm's very fast and same time its so smooth from lower rpm to high.Of course it feels also powerful in lightweight car.
Motor is much more driveable than last engine without roller lifters, rockers, timing set and injection. Heads has a mild porting and block is decked to 0.Stock pistons.Next step is more porting and higher pistons.

That is a neat looking set up, old school look with modern tweaks! I have a similar "tattoo" on my leg, ran a cut off wheel across my thigh

I will try to get you some pictures of the work that has been done to the heads the next time there accessible. Probably a few weeks. I will try to help if I can.

I actually did the same thing a few years ago. The disc broke, got caught on what I was cutting, went thru my jeans and boxers. I came fairly close to an artery too. Lucky for me, the scar has more or less gone away. Not fun at all!!!
