Interested. What is the cc of the piston dish? Looks like a BBC 7.1"rod and 4.0"stroke would be one combination.

I do not know cc of dished valve reliefs

4.380" bore?( .0675 over). Were you planning on using a TA block? 1.450" compression distance? Need a long rod, and more stroke for that.

Yes, was planning on a long rod.
I really hadn’t completely decided on what direction I was going to go.

You could go a lot of ways with those. Long-rod/stock stroke,or a variety of strokes and still have a long rod. My pistons are even shorter than that.

I'm going to pass. I couldn't get the compression down to where I felt comfortable. JE Pistons did say the of valves reliefs were -13.56cc

If the engine isn’t built yet,you can put the compression wherever you want it. Rod length and gasket thickness can be chosen for that.
I’m actually doing the same thing right now.

Trying to work with off the shelf parts and not too much experience with Buick. I asked for two days to figure it out and didn’t get information from JE until around 3/3:30 yesterday. I tried a lot of different ways but I lack the experience. I’m not going to hold up a sale if someone else is wanting them. Just playing by the rules. No problem.
