Hey everyone, last weekend I went to an auction up in South Dakota and ended up buying this 69 Buick Skylark that was liecensed up til 1999 we got it Home that night at ended up firing it up and we drove it around the farm yard it was a blast. The car is in great shape except for the passengers side quarter and door becuase thats where it got hit at. shouldnt be a problem to fix!! and you cant go wrong in buying a car for only $130. I was going to use this one for parts for mine but decided to let another Buick Lover have it to restore! Another Buick SAVED I geuss!!!!!!! And below these pic's is a 72 Skylark Custom SUNCOUPE!! that drove that only sold for $475 we regret buying that:( but we where not thinking at the time I geuss

    I WAS THERE!!!!!!!!

    HEY I WAS AT THAT!!!!!!
my dad and i went to that because of all the cars.....
but you are missing the best buick there
the 1984 t type with only 84000 miles no rust
it had some engine issuses diffrent wheels and some of the badges were missing or in the wrong spot

i was trying to get it but it sold for almost $5000 and it didnt even turn over so it was kinda funny to see someone pay that much for something they have to two home!

    :Dou:

    o well

Wowzers!:eek2: Look at all that stuff! That's way too cool... I wish we had events like that up here in Rust-ville, Canada. All that solid sheetmetal, and for cheap!!!:af:

Alas, I am a poor, lowly college student...:Dou:

Nice grab, though! Too bad you didn't scoop up that Suncoupe. :Dou:

    one time deal

This was a one time auction. The guy owned a salvage yard and collected mainly 57 chevys but had all of these other cars. He retired and sold everything. There was a huge steel building full of 57 chevys. We got lucky because it was mainly a chevy crowd and all other cars sold first so they were all waiting on the 57s.

hey the suncoupe skylark went for 500.00 at the south dakota auction, a 64 buick went for 350.00, I purchased the last car for auction that day a nova with disc brakes for my Apollo and other parts to go to buick Apollo, I was surprized at how much rust was there, a lot of junk, for parts mostly, buickapollo455
