Hey all, I forgot, I was supposed to say something about John because I’ve been talking with him, texting. Let me reread our conversations so I don’t misconstrue what he has said. I’ll be back
OK, I went back and reread our texts. First off he can’t look at a computer screen or his phone for very long at all because it messes with his head. I truly understand that. So here are some snapshots of our conversation…
So the good news is it sounds like he finally got a doctor that actually cares about him and might be able to do something positive.
On a positive note he is able to get around his house and taking in nature around his property. Sure as heck beats being confined!
That’s what I know so far. When John finds out more I’m sure he, or Jenn will send me a message and I’ll pass it on…
Don't know him personally, but I'll keep him in my thoughts. Since Brad Conley passed I have had much time to reflect on life. I am no longer taking things for granted as I am in the age group several passing members were in as well. I am now more dedicated to finishing my cars and enjoying them. Cerebrovascular issues can cause all kind of different problems depending on what part of the brain is effected. Hopefully having the head of the department focusing on it they will figure out where the problem is and get it fixed.
Spoke with him couple weeks ago and he's doing better. I'll try and get him to sign on and explain the issues. Thinking he is planning on coming to the Nationals with the FED.
Wow, I can't believe I missed this thread... I met and got to hang out with John at the first Nationals I went to in 2021. What a great guy. Glad to hear he's doing better! Looking forward to seeing you again soon, buddy!
