    Had this emailed to me..

PICK-n-PULL junkyard in Arlington WA (north of Seattle) has a 70 Electra. Looks decent in the pic, and the front end looks normal height so motor was in it when it went in Oct 13th. The car will probably be pulled and crushed by Jan 1st, If you post this info maybe somebody in Seattle area can get the motor and save it (I don't have the time or energy to get it myself)

PS. People have bought whole cars out of PnP yards, but it can be a hassle to convince them to sell you the car

If your local might be worth checking out.

The car might be found on the www.row52.com website, as well. I have found that site useful for locating cars, but useless for selling, or getting anyone to respond to you, either as a response to their wanted ad, or if you need a part.
Am of belief cars, once they have entered "general population" of said yard, are not coming out whole. The VIN has been deactivated, and sent to that state's DMV. In the early days, of pick a parts, the rules were not as well defined, and sometimes a yard would sell a whole car. I know, I did buy a '70 Cutlass Post coupe that had been dumped at the then new South Broadway pick a part in Albuquerque. Never tried to register or title the thing, it was blown apart and sold in pieces, including the tub, and parts of the chassis.
Now some yards, take running late models, and set them in a separate area, to sell as drivers. That does happen.

It looks like they charge $226.99 for a complete engine: https://www.picknpull.com/part-pricing/136?navitem=e&searchcriteria=e

Looking at the photo, it looks like the nose may be a bit high. There are V8Buick people in Arlington.

I am one of them here Steve!
I could go look if anyone is interested, or I also have a few 455's here in my shop already!

Harold, do you have any running 455's you would sell? I have a friend in Bremerton who just bought a 71 Skylark with no motor looking for a 455 to drop in......

Not running Chris, 3 complete long blocks + at least 1 hot tanked block and crank.
I also have a 350 ready to assemble, block bored and oil mods done if I remember correctly....

I'm spoiled, having a Bro that owns a machine shop I don't have to store dirty parts! Lunch buys me hot tank time! LOL!

That car has power front discs. That setup - complete has to be worth taking.
