Im going to order my parts this week and I want to make sure I've got everything down right.
Im going to order the TA 212 cam and lifters, TA Stage 1 Intake, and a B+M Holeshot 2400 converter.Im also ordering all the little stuff to get the job done quick.

    My questions are:
    A. Will a standard TA replacement timing chain be good enough( i.e. strong enough),any concerns?Im on a budget.

    B. Will the TA oil pump booster kit be OK in giveing me a little extra pressure? The way they talk about it in the catalog, the better choice would be the Adjustable oil pressure regulator part # TA 1502. But Ild be kind of paraniod about adjusting it properly.

C.Will a 2400 rpm stall converter be enough?

    D. Im planing on running a 4011 holly carb that I bought New its an 800 cfm dbl pumper, Spread bore w/ mech secondarys. Any thoughts on this carb?

I have a 11" tci converter that i may be interested in selling in a few weeks. I can run it up to about 3000 on the foot brake. If the other converter works i will let you know. I have tried three different 10" converters and they all stalled way more than advertised with the 212 cam.

A standard timing chain will do just fine. i would go with the adjustable regulator and not with the booster plates. The booster will add quite a load to your already heavily worked front cam bearing and cam gear. 2400 would probably be a minimum that I would go to. 2400-2800 is fair game for that cam. The carb should be fine........I hope you live close to a gas station. :)

    Thanks Mike!
Is the adjustable regulator pretty easy to adjust? Will I need to hook up an oil pressure gauge to adjust it? Do you even think I'll need the extra pressure?

As far as the timing chain, a standard replacement ones that you buy at autozone, will be the same that TA will give you, and they may be a little cheaper. Same with lifters as my understanding has it.
As far as wether you should get double roller or standard type, both will work just the same. The double roller will theoretically never wear out or stretch or break. The standard type replacement will stretch over time.

The best bet for choosing a converter, is when you order the stuff from TA, ask what they recommend. They know there stuff the best. And after you place an order like that, I'm sure they'll be happy to help you, lol

I'm gonna be ordering my stuff tommarow... good luck with your build up, and keep us posted when it's done! I'm using the same cam as you, stock converter gears, ported heads, ta intake, headers.... I won't have time to do the work for another 3 weeks probally tho...

    :) Update :

Just thought I'ld let everybody know I finally ordered my parts and got them. Im planing on tossing it all in over this winter and hopfully getting it to the track this up comeing summer.
I decided to go with a 2500rpm stall converter as per Dave at TA performances recomendations.

Oh Yeah! And Dave at TA Perf. told me the Ta 212 is going like being advanced so I went with the other timing chain.

I read some where on the internet that the 350 stage 1 Intake needs bolts that 1.5 cm shorter than stock is this true or will my stock bolts still work?

I used the stock bolts.....worked fine. I used the standard sheetmetal intake gasket and have had no problems. Be sure to use some gasket "shellac" or spray on copper sealant though.
