Well, I own a 1971 skylark. Awesome car, but still has a lot of work and constant problems. So yeah, hi everyone.

Well, Wolf Power (stick your name in posts - then we all know who you are)

I was the Newbie back in July or so - with my newly bought '53 - mine looks good - probably in worse shape than your car.

I've got a sister in Tacoma, was in Payallup until she and her husband retired last year. Maybe I'll be out there some day - not soon.

These guys KNOW EVERYTHING - be patient with them - they'll warm up and answer your questions, and make suggestions and they have CONTACTS you'll be forever thankful they shared with you.

Other than that, they're "just a bunch" of Buick Lovers.

Work on your profile to make it public - put all the info in it you can - so we can all see the real you. Took me weeks to fill out that stuff.

Anything we can help you with ?

    And W E L C O M E .

    Rip (aka Keith) Rohring :Comp:

Where do you live and your name? Puget Sound chapter meets in Auburn on the 2nd Tues of the month
If interested there are several members here and lots of good parts leads also.

Dave, I hope the last weeks storm didnt cause you as much trouble as it did to Long Beach

First off, my bad on the Vancouver show. Great show also. It was cool with all the planes that were there for an event at the same time this year.
I tend to think that most of the new Washington guys come from up in that Seattle mess and Puyallup is close for them.
Given a choice between going to a Portland / Vancouver for an event or most any place North of Olympia, I'll do the Southern route!

Gary! We held out pretty good in this part of the county. The Raymond area was one of the few spots in the county that kept power, although south of town there were miles of power line down. Some of the roads in the woods that haven't been open that long since the '07 storm have some fresh blow down over them but nothing that we can't deal with.
I guess that after 4 days of 70 to 120 MPH winds back in December of 07, most anything that could blow away did. 70+ MPH gusts for a few days couldn't shake anything new free.
How did you hold out through it all? Flooding or wind damage?

We were in the banana belt, not to bad for wind, plenty of rain and few mud slide etc never lost power.

Welcome Wolf. I'm definitely at the southern part of the sound. Somehow I never get to Vancouver, but that's fine. I only do a couple of shows, and that's when I can figure out my work schedule(up in that Seattle Mess :bla:.)
As has been said before... lots of great people here on the board. Got a question, it'll be answered sooner or later. Parts? Someone is bound to have it or know where to get it.
Anyway, enjoy the site and have a blast!!

And then sometimes you have to leave early to get to work, or you can't stay awake because you came from work to go to the show.

I'll bet when you were a young buck you would have been able to stay awake!:moonu:

As you can tell though, lots of us between Northern Washington and Salem Oregon area. You are in good company with these guys!

Give us a heads up about a month ahead! It's about 250 miles for me, but it should be a fun time so we'll just have to see what the weather is doing by then.
