A JW performance TH400, in mint shape, a top of the line performance transmission, built by JW performance transmissions, one of the premier performance transmission shops in the country. this is not some cookie cutter jegs/summit transmission! this one has a few upgrades such as adjustible shift govenor, B&M shift kit and adjustible vaccum modulator. set the tranny to shift the way YOU want. able to withstand up to 600 hp and 600 ft. lbs. of torque. just removed from car to switch to manual transmission. this tranny is flawless! $400

I am also selling the Torque converter which was also made by JW performance and was specially made to work with this transmission. it is a extreme duty 3200 stall speed converter able to withstand 600 hp and 600 ft. lbs. of torque. (im not sure of the size but i think it is either a 10 or 12 inch). $150

last but not least, selling the flexplate. in perfect shape, all teeth intact and sharp. $40

wow, that was alot of responses real fast. let me try to get to them all...

o.k i just called JW performance and gave them the part # and they reminded me that it is an 11 inch converter and the stall is anywhere from 3400 to 3800. (although mine stalled at 3200, go figure).

    1) Joe are you no longer interested?
    2) Greg. there is a factory pan on in which has been fitted for a temperature guage. it has probably 7-8,000 miles on it (it is not a daily driver and sees about 1000 miles a year on it. there are probably 6 passes on it at the track. as far as any #'s on it there aren't many. there is of course the big 350 numbers, a big #4, a big letter "C", the numbers 18-4-77 in a circle. then on the tail shaft i see the name "lester"-4, then 8624486.
    3) Randy. it is just a stock big block flexplate.

also i guess i will not be needing the transmission temperature guage with my manual, so i will part with it for $25. it is a sport comp carbon fibre face 2&5/8 in mint shape.

Dan i'll take the converter. Shipping to 08879.:TU:

How old it this converter? As old as the trans?

the trans is from '95 but i believe that the converter is probably from 2003 or 4.

i will get pricing on converter. it still has fresh fluid in it...gimme a day to get it all out.

Dan, figure shipping on the flexplate to 66701 and let me know the total. Parcel post is fine, as long as the USPS doesn't decide to see if they can fold it in half on the way here. God knows they try every chance they get!

Dan, thanks for the PM's. Paypal sent for the flexplate. Best of luck with your X-body restoration. Are you going to paint it the same color when you are finished?

Dan, I received the flexplate today. It's going to look great on the back of the 455 I am building for my Riviera. Trying to explain to my wife what a flexplate is and what it does was worth a few grins too.
There are two things she knows about cars, where the gas pedal & steering wheel are, and the shortest route between my house and the shopping center! Later, Randy
