JW Wins Top Drag Shootout!!!!!

JW, together with crew chief Mike Bucy (Designated Driver) and crew (friends) won the Birthday Cocktail Shootout last Saturday night. Winning in the second and final round against new BPG Membership Secretary Beth Smith, with crew chief Cole Smith (Designated Driver) and crew (friends).

After much taunting in the pit area (Local Bar), the friendly race to see who can DRAG there sorry butts into the next bar, failed for Beth who could not make the call to the starting line for round 2. After a feverish attempt in the pits (parking lot) to get her up to the line (the bar), JW took the single for the win.

Last we heard Beth's crew still could not get her started and had to bring her back to the shop for repairs. We also heard the problem may have had something to do with TOO MUCH FUEL and SERIOUS ENGINE FLOODING. The crew chief had said, " I will try putting her up on the hoist, changing the fuel mixture, pull out all the plugs and let her dry out for a while".

WE ALL HAD A GREAT TIME!!!!

    Happy Birthday Jim!

More details and heaven forbid, pictures to come..........

They use to say you do not want a car built on the line on a Monday. In the case we do not want the engine that was built on Sunday.

Thanks for the evening, and Happy Birthday again, JW!

Brent: Don't start worrying until JW refers to the motor as a nice V6. After all, who needs eight cylinders.

I did get a first hand account. I was told that the drinking was indeed stopped, before serious brain damage was done:shock:

The dyno session is ON, my first time seeing such an event. I am very excited to see what kind of numbers come up:bglasses:
